We are deeply excited to open the doors to our gallery space and work with local artists by providing support for their community-driven art projects. Our primary goal is to build bonds within our community– we believe that this space will encourage artists, craftspeople, and leaders to work together in creating works of beauty and community resilience.

Local Creators Shine
The Written Word
We plan to feature in our community gallery a curated collection of works by local artists and community activists who have published works about the history of this specific neighborhood. We also plan to host readings and gatherings to honor these artists and writers.
The new gallery and community center will expand these opportunities, offering a versatile space for dance performances, furniture design exhibitions, artists' workshops, and more. Our founder, Tae Ha, a successful visual artist, believes deeply in the power of art to transcend barriers—language, culture, and more—and foster meaningful connections within the community. This new space will allow us to further realize our mission of engaging neighbors through locally relevant activities that celebrate our diverse community and build a stronger, more vibrant Oakland.
